Prices says what F430s sold for, by variant and by gearbox. This page asks what else moves the number. Every figure below is a median of 430Live’s own recorded sales over the last twelve months, on the same floor — 5 sales — and every cohort shows the variants it is made of, because each of these slices cuts across variant and none of them can escape the mix.

There is no meaningful difference. Rosso sits 3% above Everything else, on cohorts whose price ranges overlap almost entirely. It is worth stating plainly, because the received wisdom on older Ferraris — that any red which is not Rosso Corsa is rare, and priced accordingly — does not hold on this car. Rosso Scuderia is an ordinary F430 colour, so is Grigio Silverstone, and this site encodes no premium between them.

Across all variants at once the 5,000–10,000 band has a median of $600,000 — that band is where the 16Ms and Scuderias sit, and the figure would be a variant mix wearing a mileage label. What this page does not say
- · Which way the price is going. The quarterly medians above are 4 measurements, not a direction. A trend needs two years before this site will name one, and this archive is 8 quarters wide with only 4 of them clear of the 5-sale floor. A monthly series is further off still: at most 12 sales landed in any single month on record. So the columns are drawn and deliberately not joined - the gap between two measurements is exactly the thing this site cannot yet fill in.
- · A repeat-sale index. 6 cars in this archive have sold more than once. An index built on 6 pairs moves when one car does, so the pairs are published whole, above, and no index is computed from them.
- · What cars ask against what they make. The obvious question, and it needs the same car on both sides. Not one VIN in the sold archive currently appears on the live board, so any figure would compare two different populations — an asking pool that includes every car that has not sold, against an auction pool that includes exceptional ones. The fix is VIN extraction on both sides, not more sales.
- · Where the market is going. §9 wants two years of sold history before a quarterly index, and this archive is ten months deep with a thin tail before that. Ten months is enough to take a level from and not enough to state a direction.
- · How rare any of this is. Ferrari published no production figure for any F430 variant, so there is no denominator here and no share-of-production anywhere on this site. Every production number you will read elsewhere is an estimate wearing a fact’s clothes.
